CAX80 barely 500Mbs -THE MODEL IS CAX80-

So, It's been a year since I got 1GB service from Xfinity, about 6 months since I purchased the CAX80, and 6 months since I have not being able to get 1GB speeds,

Contacted   Netgear support  many, many, many times . many  work orders were issued , everytime taking over 3 to 4 hours of troubleshooting with people  you can hardly understand to come to the same conclusion, No Help.

Netgear blames the  service provider,  Xfinity  (service provider)  blames the router, I'm still 6 months without  1GB service I'm paying for.

I had 1 GB service in the begining while paying for Xfinity  Modem Lease. 

Why did I buy this modem?

Please if anyone out there have any help advice, PLEASE HELP!!!!!

  • How are you testing speeds ?
    What device, app, etc are you using? 

    Do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and event logs?

      The model is a CAX80, I would love to upload all the screeshots, but this thing only lets me do 1 file at a time
