How do I just access my router without logging in to Netgear's Account?????
I have a Netgear RAX54v2 router and I just want to get to the admin screens. Every time I want to go there, it requires me to login to some Netgear account site. And half the time that doesn't even work!
I know I can unplug the router from the internet to get past it, but WHY SHOULD I.
I've tried just going to 192.168.2.1/start.htm but that doesn't really get past the problem. (yes, my subnet is 192.168.2.x)
How can I turn off this extra step?
This is enough to get me to stop buying Netgear equipment.

That thread seems to be talking about Access Denied issues, not the problem of forcing the user to login to a Netgear Account (and that not working). Is there a way to turn off the Account Login requirement and just let me get to my router admin screens?
That's the issue is that that admin log in is not appearing and is showing a different NETGEAR account.
Once you do the factory reset and setup from scratch with the router not connected to the ISP modem, complete the setup wizard, then reconnect, you'll get the normal admin log in screen to get in to the routers web page.
