How to get Netgear to add internal LAN, "HTTPS" with selective port login!
How to request a missing/new feature, specifically HTTPS://<local login> via LAN.
Others have asked about this, but replies like stating the obvious, like "it is not available" is NOT a solution for me.
If Netgear is unwilling to add this feature, will they please explain why?
ASUS have this feature and I fear I made a mistake in switching to Netgear.

Not Netgear if you don't mind: Netgear is very ignorant in adding industry standard features. Older top of the line routers like the Nighthawk X10 R9000 has https for LAN (and for optional remote access) including a valid signed certificate e.g. for https://routerlogin.net and https://routerlogin.com
Look, it's like other features the community is requesting for years - say for example firewall rules for WAN/Internet->Router and WAN/Internet->LAN/port forwardings for both IPv4 and IPv6. Netgear product managers are stuck in the early 1990ties. ChristineT more complaints here for this wonderful modern g*****e.
