I lose internet intermittently

I'm having the same issue. I have wireless turned off. I have pinged google and the router at the same time on a wired connection. I lose internet intermittently, but, the ping to the local router stays the same. I'm having zero issues with my old linksys router when I connect it. I've updated my firmware. I'm not sure what to do. Should I just submit a warranty at this point?

    If you do decide to ask a question, you should provide more details and your own version of the information that the forum suggests that you provide. For example, as this is a router, it helps to know what modem you are using and the various things that you have tried to fix the problem.
