Interet/WiFi behaving very strange. RAX200
Hey guys. I'm seeing some strange behaviour on my WiFi at the moment and I'm trying to figure out what is happening.
I have an RAX200 connected to Sky Fibre, and have an EX80 extender. 3 days ago, my work laptop begun to refuse to connect to the Internet, I use this for work so it's a PITA - the laptop will connect to my WiFi, and will state I have Internet and will even connect to the VPN I use to dial in to my office. Whenever I've legitimately lost Internet connection, the VPN will not work AT ALL but now it connects and I can even see packets being sent and recieved, but I can't open any websites, or use teams and the PC acts like it's completely offline.
I've taken the computer to the office, I'm able to connect via WiFi to the same network, also via ethernet. As mentioned before I am not able to connect via the router HOWEVER I WAS able to make a teams call after unplugging the router and restarting for a few minutes. After this, again the same problems.
In addition to this, I am seeing issues using streaming software (RD) on an NVIDEA Shield. The Shield is able to browse the Internet, and other apps just fine so has a connection.
I'm fully up to date on firmware and this set up has been working fine for the last 3 months. Before I do a complete reset of the router, has anyone had any similar issues before?
Thanks very much!

Additional information would be helpful. What is the brand name and model number of the ONT you are connecting your RAX200 to? Look on the label please.
How long has it been since you did a full power down (pull the power cord) and restart in sequence your network devices?
Power down (pull the power cord) for the ONT. Power down (pull the power cord) on your RAX200.
After a few minutes, power up your ONT and give it ample time to boot and stabilize. Then power up your RAX200 and give it ample time to boot and stabilize. Then connect your laptop and check your connection. On your laptop it would not hurt to completely forget your Wi-Fi connection then reestablish the connection and manually enter the Wi-Fi password.
Does the top Internet LED on the router change color when this happens?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Have you turned OFF the EAX extender and just connect to the RAX router to test?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
