Interminent Loss of Internet on AX1800 MK62
I have been having issues with intermittent Internet drops and loss of performance. ISP for my cable Internet (Spectrum) suggested I replace the wireless router. I replaced the modem, the router and the cables. The router I purchased is the Netgear NIghthawk Mesh Wifi 6 AX1800 MK62-100NAS. When it works it works great however it seems to drop performance everyday and is often unusable. Getting download speeds of .04 to 115 Mbps. Usually if I reboot the system it will work again for awhile before it drops off again. This is the same issue we have had with the old router though the old router was not as fast at the high end. In poking around on the MK62 I found a log that shows there is a DOS Attack called a Fraggle Attack from 22.68.137.1 on port 67. These attacks appear to happen about every 20 seconds. I read online I should get a new IP address. The ISP told me to reboot the modem to get a new IP address but have rebooted the modem about 30 times in the last month but it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone know if this could be the cause of my issues? And is there a way to block these attacks if that is necessary? Thanks for your help!!

Thought I'd also throw in that the ISP has been out four times and tells me everything is perfect on their end.
what modem did you purchase and use?
What firmware are you on?
does it disconnect or just speeds slow?
do they happen to hardwired devices as well or just wireless?
Modem is a ARRIS TM822 supplied by Spectrum.
Firmware Version V1.0.2.76_2.0.28 on the AX1800 MK62-100NAS
Speeds slow incredibly. When working properly they are up to 114 Mbps. This morning my iPhone 7 was not usable on the wifi and new iPad was at .04 download. Interestingly I shut my iPad off for five minutes, turned it back on and it went back to 114 Mbps. My phone, sitting right next to it was still unmeasurable on an Ookla speedtest. Same thing happens to my wife and daughter's iPhone 11s, intermittent slowing to unusable. Apple TV is cabled to the satellite and was working fine during this time but we've had problems there as well. I think if I reboot the router it usually brings the Apple TV back up, at least for an hour or so. Also this morning, desktop was working as expected during the issues with the phones and iPad. Our home is only 1600 square feet so I thought this system would be more than enough to cover it. I think there is something wrong with the router. My wife doesn't think so because we were having similar issues with the old router and modem set up as well. Four cable techs from Spectrum and their on phone techs say there is nothing wrong with the Internet feed or our wiring. I am perplexed. I read that the Fraggle Attacks are mostly defeated by today's routers but that is the only thing I have seen that doesn't seem right. Thanks for any help you can provide! Dave
