Internet cuts off when getting into a match of COD6

Every time I try to play COD6 Multiplayer the game gives me a network error and restarts the game on my pc. But also my internet will cut out for about 10 - 20 seconds. The game loads and I can play around in the menus all day long but as soon as a match loads it errors out. I thought it was maybe just my install but I deleted an reinstalled it. I also tried to play on xbox game pass for pc but same thing happens.  Searched the net to try anything but haven't found anything yet. My sons pc does the same thing. He uses steam and I'm on battlenet. Only thing I have found to work is direct connect to the modem.  Everything is up to date.

Windows 10pc

Router is RAXE300-100nas

Firmware Version V1.0.8.64

Tried...

Fresh install of game

Fresh install of router setup

Random internet "fixes"

Your modem is a DOCSIS 3.0 device.  These devices are limited to the number of upstream/downstream channels they support.  You might want to consider a DOCSIS 3.1 modem for a replacement.

        are the pc's wired?

Wireless? and if wireless, what band are they connecting to?

You said the internet drop out for around 10-20 seconds, what are the lights doing on the router when this happens?

Does the internet light go out, does it reboot? What actually happens?

        Is ipv6 enabled or disabled?

        Are you using Armor?
