Issues communicating on local network
I recently bought and installed a Nighthawk AX6. Since setting up my new router I have had some strange issues. My wife's work machine is no longer able to scan and print to a hardwired Epson all-in-one. Her machine is able to ping the router and access the internet. There are some devices on the local network she can ping but none that are important like printing. My router is up to date and network discovery is enabled within Windows 10. The router has been rebooted at least 10 times for other reasons over the last 2 months. The issue occurs even with her VPN disabled.
Any ideas?

What model router do you have? R####?
I'd contact the Mfr of the printer for additional help and information regarding there printer.
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.- svtbolt2001Aspirant
My router is a RAX50.
Do you have the computer set as a private address or public address in windows?

Hard wired as in Ethernet or USB?
My router is up to date and network discovery is enabled within Windows 10.The only way to confirm that is to tell people the number of the firmware. Far too many people arrive here claiming that when in reality they can be years behind the latest. That's because the router's on-line firmware checks can be wrong.
