Issues with iPhones and Wifi Devices
I'm at my wits end with my RAX70, I have a handful of iPhones with wifi issues (lag) when visiting youtube, reddit, and tik tok. When I play on my switch it disconnects on random games and other issues come up only on wireless devices.
I am on the latest firmware, called premier support, and am now looking at other routers.
Here is a list of things I've done:
- Restarted Router
- Reset Router
- Change DNS
- Moved Router
- Changed WiFi channel from Auto to 6, and then 11.
- Reseated all cables
I cant imagine whats going on with my WiFi. If anyone has any ideas. I'm opened to it.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Try setting manual channel 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Firmware: V1.0.14.134
I am using my own router a SURFboard SB8200 with their CAT6A cables.
I am having issues on both 2.5 and 5Ghz so any changes have been useless.
I disabled the MAC randomizer on both iPhone and iPad and it didn't work!
If it is an iOS 17 issue, that is good to know, unfortunately it doesn't explain why my switch will lose network connectivity.
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling AX mode on both 2.4 and 5Ghz radios.
Try disabling Smart Connect and set separate SSID names.
Try setting WPA2 and AES only.
