Low LAN and 5GHz WIFI speeds from RAXE500 Router?
Hello!
I have a CM2000 modem that is supplying 1400+mps to a RAXE500 router. However, my wired LAN connection from the router to my 3 year old HP laptop tops out at 400-500mps? And my iPhone 12 only shows 400-500mps from the 5GHz WIFI?
I do have 3 Ring cameras, a Ring alarm system with 3 motion detectors, Smart Thermostat, 3 Echo Dots, a smart washer and dryer, and 3 Smart TV's connected wirelessly. But I purchased this modem and this router for their ability to support multiple wireless devices and to get higher Mps to my laptop
I previously had a CM1200 modem and R7000 router and was getting 900-990mps to my wired LAN connected laptop, so I feel I should be getting at least that now with this new equipment? I've tried different configurations between CM2000 modem and RAXE500 router to no avail. Tried different settings in the router without any change? I've tried to Google a "detailed" setup of the router for best speed but haven't found anything other than basic setup??
Appreciate any help as I hate to think I wasted this much money on these items and only getting mediocre results....

What firmware is on the RAXE?
What site are you testing speeds on? Try a couple as some struggle to max out gigabit
Are you using IPv6? Try enabling that

Thanks for the quick reply.
Router Firmware is the latest Version V1.0.10.86_2.0.40
Using the speed test in the Router app, Xfinity speed test, and Google speed test
Try installing the 1.0.12.96 firmware.
Then do a factory reset.
Don't change anything (other than your ssid/password).
Then test the speeds.
