My router boot up time takes almost 5 minutes to complete - is that normal?

I've had a boatload of Netgear routers in the past, but this is the first router I've had that takes soooooo long to completely boot up. It takes almost 5 minutes for it to complete, and start servicing my network(s).   Is that normal, or do I have a hardware/firmware issue?

 

My router is actually an RAX35 (aka. RAX40 - without the USB ports).

        Five minutes may seem like forever, but it can take time to negotiate a network connection. Certainly minutes rather than seconds.
