Need help connecting

I keep getting this same message when I try To connect to the WiFi router for the first time so I can finish the setup process. Keeps saying error opening page

  • Little more info needed.

    1. it looks like you're trying to activate a modem from the activate.suddenlink.com webpage. Am I looking at this wrong?

    2. What modem is it? Firmware on the modem?

    3. Have you ever activated the modem?

    4. Have you tried setting up the R8000 over a hardwired connection?

    5. What firmware is on the R8000?

  • One the modem is activated follow this procedure. 

    1. Power on modem. Wait a couple minutes for it to fully boot and connect

    2. Plug router into modem. Power it on. Leave it for a couple minutes to fully boot.

    3. Plug into router or connect to router to do setup. Always recommend hardwiring in for setup/activation.
