Can you clarify what model computer? What WiFi card does it have or Network card if you are trying to connect wired?
If using wireless does it work wired?
Are you using 2.4ghz or 5ghz Wifi? Are you unable to see the WiFi network name?
What version of Windows, Mac, or ChromeOS are you running on the system?
What/where are you having an error with?

- CarolynLCRRAspirantLaptop is a Toshiba Satellite C855 running Windows 10.
It works fine when connected to the router with ethernet cable, but the network doesn't show in the list when trying to use Wi-Fi.
I've tried disabling the CX after reading support info on the netgear site to no avail.

This router is full of issues.
I experienced the same problem with my Lenovo Yoga. The only solution was for me to buy a USB WiFi adapter. Your built in card is older tech, and this router is not smart enough to retain compatibility.

Firmware Version V1.0.2.72_2.0.45
I bought this router a few months ago, 11/2020, from BestBuy
I have 2 Dell laptops:
Inspiron 15 5000 no problem: I can see two names of my wifi networks.
Inspiron 5558 : I can't see the names of my wifi networks.
The Wifi adaptor is Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160
Ethernet 802.3
Can you help me?
Thanks,
CK
