Night Hawk CM1150v MTA provision status rejected
I have noticed that an led modular line tester indicates reverse polarity in phone jacks 1 & 2 of my netgear cm1150v. Normal (OK) phone line would show green. I don't know if this has anything to do with my issues.
I cannot access (login to) any of my Xfinity accounts on my laptop or use the VOIP phone for the past three days when I'm at home. Also, I cannot use any of the Xfinity apps on my iPhone 11 when at home.
Yet, all apps on my iPhone work and I can login to my account from my laptop at the Xfinity store!
The modem home page shows everything is okay EXCEPT that the MTA provision status is Rejected!
Xfinity tech support has checked (twice) and say that everything appears okay from their side. Anyway, I'm having an Xfinity tech come out to my home tomorow.
I cannot find any reports of such an issue; but everything points to my modem (CM1150V). My router is the ASUS RT-AX88U, Wireless-AX6000 Dual Band Gigabit Router. and has been working "flawlessly" everywhere except on xfinity logins!!
I'm totally befuddeled - has anyone had this isssue and resolved it??
Best Regards, Walt
so its working?
If so, glad its working even though we don't know what xfinity changed.
You can mark it as solved so others aren't trying to fix it as well

the mta provisioning is different than the website issue.
The mta provisioning has to be done on xfinity's side. Its part of the provisioning and isn't user changeable.
In terms of the website issue, if you remove your router and just direct connect a pc/laptop to the modem, does the website work?
(unplug the router from modem, power off the modem for 2 minutes, connect pc/laptop to modem, boot up modem and give a couple minutes, try using it)

Thanks plemans for your response.
Unfortunately I will not be able to try your suggestion with the modem in the same state as when I posted.
Checked my modem this morning and noticed the the LED's were NOT blinking orange as before. This prompted me to call my wife's cell phone using the VoIP phone and this time the call went through. I was also able to login into my Xfinity account and Xfinity stream from both my iPhone and my laptop, which I had not been able to do before.
Also, the MTA Provision Status on the modem page changed from "Rejected" to "CMS Registered".
I have not been able to find out what Comcast did overnight to change the status; also don't know what "CMS Registered" means.
so its working?
