Nighthawk ax120 low wifi speed when i disable QoS any help?

guys I just got my Nighthawk ax120 to replace a nighthawk r7800 that was falling on me. When i Do the speed test on my pp that is connected by ethernet cable to the router I get almost the full gig of download speed that I pay For. If I run a wifi speed stest on the 5ghz i get over 500mbps. The problem is that when I go in to the router setings to disable the QoS both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wifi speed slow down to only 13mbps. Any help on how to solve this? Any body else having this problem?

The router is running the latest firmware ending in 108.
