NightHawk AX2400 (RAX30) not communicating with my wired HP 8210 printer unless I reboot the printer
I replaced my old router with this new AX2400 as an upgrade. Did the normal wizard setup and all wired and WiFi components are working fine except for my HP 8210 production printer. Every time I send to the printer, I get a HP 'Can not communicate with printer' message. Following the message's suggestion, I have to power down/power up the printer to get it to work for that session. If my printer goes into idle, I have to repeat the process. The printer is wired to the router.
Anyone have any ideas on how to get the router to wake up my printer like my old one did?
Thanks in advance for your ideas, JB

Set a IP address reservation for the printer on the router?

Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the router and printer. CAT6 is recommended.
Do you have Armor or SPC enabled on the router? If so, try with those disabled as a test.
Possible that the printers FW may need updating to check for this issue on there side as well. If the printer is going idle and waking with out getting an IP address from the router, possible problem and something to ask the Mfr of the printer about as well.
