Nighthawk ax4 rax40 setting up issue

So I've decided to buy a router and check it out and see how well it goes and what a freaking nightmare, downloads night hawk app proceeds through set up goes to login to router using admin and the default password which is password and it keeps saying incorrect password, I did some googling and factory reset the modem, still says incorrect password. The fact I even need to post on this forum about this issue says a lot about the brand. I'm probably that one unlucky guy who brought a botched modem
