i've got an RAXE500 and its worked great.
You'll always find some bad reviews and issues on the forums because thats where people with issues go.
And amazon has a pretty great return process. So I'd keep in (got a good deal on that router) and see how it works.
If you're having issues, return it because you'll probably not trust it after reading reviews.
