    Sadly, its more along the lines of you have to try it. Its hit/miss with a lot of these hard drives and depends a lot on partitioning and format of the drive.

      Very true, but this is a good a place as any to start:

      Radeczek  may not find the exact model, but something near enough should be a good guide.

       

      That list is not up to date or complete. For example, I can use a  couple of drives that do not appear in the list for my R7800, including an 8TB Seagate Backup Plus and a 4 TB WD Elements.

       

      But the format advice is crucial. ReadySHARE hates partitions.
