Nighthawk RAX38v2 dropping Internet since firmware update
Tonight I noticed on my iOS Nighthawk app that there was new firmware for the RAX38v2, so I told it to update. It took a short time, and then the app could no longer find the router...right, restarting, but it never did find it. After a long wait, I had to restart the router a couple of times for the Internet to come back and the app to find the router again.
Now it says the firmware is V1.0.5.106, so I guess it worked, but it keeps periodically dropping the Internet, even on wired connections. It had never done this before.
I also subscribed to Armor tonight, but I doubt it is relevant.
I am on a couple of PCs (Win 10) and several iOS devices.
Thanks.

What modem/gateway are you connected to?
Waht I'd try doing? Anytime there's an issue after a firmware upgrade, a reasonable first step is to factory reset. Sometimes old settings can cause issues. If that doesn't help, try re-installing the firmware to the router over a hardwired connection. When we see corrupt firmware issues, it tends to be when people updated over wifi or using the app.

OK, I will try a reset, which makes sense.
Our modem is a Windstream Actiontec 3200, which is in bridge mode. We are in a rural area, so we are lucky if we get 10 Mb. I am wondering if Armor is simply adding more drag on our speed.
Let me know if it works or not.
