Ok to upgrade firmware on a RAX120v2?

Hi everyone, thank you in advance for the help. A while ago my new router was rebooting randomly on its own. I got in touch with Netgear support, when it was still within the first 3 months of free support, and they eventually were able to help me out. They sent me a special firmware version that keeps the router from doing that weird random reboot. Fast forward to today, and it's been a while since I upgraded the firmware because if I check on the router's built-in firmware update page, it never finds any new firmware versions. So my question is, should I upgrade the firmware manually to the latest version that's on Netgear's website? I am currently running V1.2.10.56.
