Although this thread is closed - I have exactly the same problem as initially logged with WiFi calling. I can only make WiFi calls when I disable DoS and Port scan protection (I do however have Sip ALG disabled). I have current firmware for Nighthawk RAX80 ver 1.0.10.140 Ideally I would like to turn back on the DoS and Port scan protection - however if I do this WiFi calling stopsRAX80 corrupted firmware
I have a RAX80 and I'm pretty sure that the firmware is corrupted. I can connect to the wifi network. But the router says that it's offline. It doesn't respond to the app or the DNS. Before you ask: I have done a factory reset 3 times. I tried setting up the router but I need to login to account to do that. And it say that there is no internet access, even though there is. I have tried multiple cables and ports ip's router. Connected to the wan port on the RAX80 All ports and cables work without issues with anything that isn't the router. If router is connected to ip's router and I try accessing it through a browser (192.168.1.1) It will connect to the ip's router and if I remove the cable from the wan port and plug it directly to a computer or with wifi. Nothing loads. I have manual downloaded the newest firmware. But have no way to upload it to the router Current Firmware Version 1.0.10.140. Is there anyway to flash to firmware using the USB ports or any other way to flash to new firmware?Ok to upgrade firmware on a RAX120v2?
Hi everyone, thank you in advance for the help. A while ago my new router was rebooting randomly on its own. I got in touch with Netgear support, when it was still within the first 3 months of free support, and they eventually were able to help me out. They sent me a special firmware version that keeps the router from doing that weird random reboot. Fast forward to today, and it's been a while since I upgraded the firmware because if I check on the router's built-in firmware update page, it never finds any new firmware versions. So my question is, should I upgrade the firmware manually to the latest version that's on Netgear's website? I am currently running V1.2.10.56.RAX43V2 firmware update?
I have tried to update my firmware on my RAX43V2. The router shows/says that there is a firmware update available but won't install it. I have tried manually installing from the downloaded file. When I try the manual update, it gives me the file/firmware is not for this device. I am running the 1.1.3.18. When I log into/onto the router, it shows... A router firmware upgrade is available. I have downloaded all the updates, 4.28, 6.36 and 6.38. All of them give the same result when running the update...This file is incorrect. The chat bot says 3.18 is current for my router, but the site and router show 3 updates... Anyone else having this issue?I suddenly cannot connect to my readyshare USB drive anymore
Now years later and using an up-to-date Win 11 system and that RAX80 router, I suddenly cannot connect to my readyshare USB drive anymore. Signing in to the Router, it shows as before but File Explorer states "The network drive was not found. Not sure how to fix this.[WLAN access rejected: incorrect security]
I am trying to log in Rockauto.com I get this error when I try to log in. I have verified that no security updates exist for the Nighthawk AX6 AX4300. [WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC address 34:00:8a:e3:68:96, Thursday, Sep 18, 2025 20:15:19 How can I fix this, to be able to log into Rockauto.com? Any device on my network will not allow Rockauto.com as well as any browser and even cell phones if they are wireless connected. Rebooted everything Flush DNS I have changed the DNS servers to see if this helped, no change I know the rockauto security certificate is from Feb 26 2025 and they are using TLS 1.3 and says connection is encrypted and authenticated using AES_256_GCM and uses X25519 as the key exchange mechanism. Do I need an update of a security certificate? How can I do that with the router? It seems that the router is not allowing the web page to authenticate?
