I am trying to log in Rockauto.com I get this error when I try to log in. I have verified that no security updates exist for the Nighthawk AX6 AX4300. [WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC address 34:00:8a:e3:68:96, Thursday, Sep 18, 2025 20:15:19 How can I fix this, to be able to log into Rockauto.com? Any device on my network will not allow Rockauto.com as well as any browser and even cell phones if they are wireless connected. Rebooted everything Flush DNS I have changed the DNS servers to see if this helped, no change I know the rockauto security certificate is from Feb 26 2025 and they are using TLS 1.3 and says connection is encrypted and authenticated using AES_256_GCM and uses X25519 as the key exchange mechanism. Do I need an update of a security certificate? How can I do that with the router? It seems that the router is not allowing the web page to authenticate?RAX43 drops connection to readyshare
My Netgear RAX43 router will drop the connection to a PC minutes after being connected. The PC will still be able to access the Internet and other PCs on the network but won’t be able to access the network share readyshare or the routerlogin page. Nor will it be able to ping 192.168.1.1. Windows File Explorer pops up an error message saying that an error occurred reconnecting to readyshare because the local device is already in use. The PC shows the same IP Address, mac address and IPv6 address. Yet the router doesn’t recognize it as the same PC. The issue occurs whether I reserve an IP address or not on the router’s Lan setup settings. I am able to reconnect to readyshare if I manually change the IP Address on the dropped PC. I just started having this problem recently, it worked fine for a couple of years. The router has the latest firmware and Windows PCs are also updated. I have corrected all the recommended settings on my PCs. For example, enabled SMB v1, disabled SMB security signature, allow network sharing, disable password protected sharing, enabled insecure guest logons, enable NetBios, etc. Are there any incorrect settings on the router that may causing this problem? I am afraid that buying a new router will not solve the issue if Netgear routers are now incompatible with Windows 11.RAX45 log entry: [Internet disconnected]
Anyone know how to approach this issue? Perhaps router needs to be replaced? Internet disconnect happened last week and then again today. Router is running latest Firmware: V1.0.17.142_2.0.100. ISP (ATT - Fiber) reports no outages and status LEDs on ATT equipment look good (all green). To fix internet disconnect issue, I simply turn off RAX45 router and then turn it back on again. But I'd like to stop this from happening altogether. Oh yea, and when this problem happens, ATT equipment does not show RAX45 connected as it should. But after turning RAX45 off and then back on, ATT shows RAX45 connect and RAX45 shows a good internet connection. Thanks for any help/pointers in getting this issue resolved.Netgear Router Suggestion for Fritzbox 7530.
Hi, can anyone please suggest a home router that is compatible with an existing Netgear EAX 20 used as WIFI extender? The router does not need to have more than one Ethernet port and must be fully compatible with VoIP calling. ( This is to replace a Fritzbox 7530, which does not work with my Netgear extender )NightHawk AX6 AX4300 (RAX45) QOS issue
Ive just logged into my router panel on the web and i went to enable QOS to set priority to certain devices. At first it was working well i was able to set priotity one at a time but then it stopped working. i refreshed and everything got set back to highest and now when i go to change it, it loads and still stays after highest. My wifi is all cluttered and slow, i tried disabling QOS and turning it back on to re-edit priorities but i got the same problem, everything is on highest. Is anyone able to help?Instructions for setting up nighthawk RAX41 to use with my ISP router in bridge or modem mode.
Just as the title states, I’m looking for advice on how I need to set this router up when I return it back to router mode that will be connected via ethernet cable to one of the outputs of my ISP provided Calix 844E-1 router once I get that router converted to Bridge mode or modem mode. I think my ISP is gonna take care of doing the conversion to my Calix router, but do I just plain and simply connect my laptop to my Netgear router and just reboot it back into regular router mode? Are there any specific changes I need to make to it once I do that?RAX42v2 5GHz band failing
Hey all, I’ve had this router for 6 months, and in the last couple weeks, the 5GHz band is failing daily. Restarting the router helps sometimes, other times the band isn’t broadcasting at all and I have to factory reset. I’m unable to connect to it from an iPhone, iPad, desktop (with WiFi), and a Surface Pro (laptop). The firmware is up to date. Am I missing another option? I’d hate to trash this router in only 6 months.Using RAX41 router in normal mode while connected to my ISP-provided router
Right now its in AP mode as advised via Netgear tech support back when I could get support for it and not being charged but since it is in AP mode, there's a lot of settings I can't access because of it. My home network is fine I guess with two routers as both are transmitting their own 2G and 5G SSID's and both routers are transmitting on differing channels from each other. I could just use my Netgear as the only router but the reasons why I have it connected via ethernet cable to my ISP router is due to one, if there's ever a problem, my ISP can access their router remotely. Second reason, I have this router so I might as well use it and because it is faster and it does broadcast further than my ISP router. Third, being that I have a lot of wireless devices in my home, having two routers allows me to split them up between two routers instead of being all connected to one router. Can I still use it how I am but take it out of AP mode? Thanks.
