[WLAN access rejected: incorrect security]
I am trying to log in Rockauto.com I get this error when I try to log in. I have verified that no security updates exist for the Nighthawk AX6 AX4300.
[WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC address 34:00:8a:e3:68:96, Thursday, Sep 18, 2025 20:15:19
How can I fix this, to be able to log into Rockauto.com?
Any device on my network will not allow Rockauto.com as well as any browser and even cell phones if they are wireless connected.
Rebooted everything
Flush DNS
I have changed the DNS servers to see if this helped, no change
I know the rockauto security certificate is from Feb 26 2025 and they are using TLS 1.3
and says connection is encrypted and authenticated using AES_256_GCM and uses X25519 as the key exchange mechanism.
Do I need an update of a security certificate? How can I do that with the router?
It seems that the router is not allowing the web page to authenticate?

Just to clarify - it sounds like you can connect to the site and see the main page - but cannot log in. Is that correct?
If so, that has nothing to do with the certificate. If there were a certificate problem, you wouldn't be able to connect to the site at all. Also, the encryption/authentication is between the browser and the web server - the router is just forwarding the encrypted packets, and it is not processing their content.
This is not about a cert installed on the router or the client PCs. The cert is presented by the rockauto web server, and the browser verifies it using a certificate authority. The connection to rockauto.com is encrypted and authenticated before you log in and present your password. Your login credentials authenticate you, not the connection.
If you cannot see the site at all, then it would be helpful to know if the router is running Armor, or has parental controls enabled. As well as confirming the model and firmware as CrimpOn suggested.

I suggest creating a hotspot on your phone, and then connecting one of the PCs on your network via the hotspot. Then see if you can log in to the site.
