OpenVPN help (client cannot connect)
So I thought this would just be a simple process. In the router, enable ddns and make one. Then enable VPN, download the software and configuration files. Then place those files in the config folder. Rename the connection to NETGEAR-VPN and then everything should work. But no, TCP_connect is stuck connecting, then
TCP: connect to [AF_INET][Public Address]:12974 failed: Unknown error.
Then tries to reconnect again. I tried to turn off my computer's firewall but that didn't do anything. I looked at my router setting and nothing seems to be blocking anything. I followed all instructions provided.
Setup:
The router is at my small company and I have access to the settings of that router.
I'm trying to connect my computer (windows 10) to that router
Any help is appreciated, I am no expert on VPNs and thought this would be very simple to setup. ( I can figure out the security stuff later once I get this to work)
