Persistent connection issues with Apple HomePod
So I am having consistent issues with playing music through my HomePod via my phone (iPhone Xs) or my laptop (MacBook Pro), the issues crop up in two ways:
- I try to connect via airplay and it starts to play music, in a few minutes there's constant break up in the audio and makes it inaudible
- I try to cnnect via aurplay and my wifi network crashes, I have to restart my router to bring things back to normal
Does anyone have any experience with these issues? One splution I saw online eas turning off WMM but I didn't get a wifi 6 router to limit myself to 25mbps. Any and all recommendations are welcome :)

Hi simonpollayil,
I would check to see if the router is due for a firmware update.
Christian .
- I actually solved the issue by rolling back the firmware to v1.0.2.60_1.0.1. This is unfortunate because I don’t have the latest security updates but it was between that or being able to use my devices
