Hello, I’m having a big issue with my PlayStation 5 which is connected via Ethernet cable. More often than not it disconnects my lab cable and connects it straight back afterwards, it will do this lots of times on some occasions.

    I'm really not sure what you mean by this. 

    What is actually happening in details?

    What firmware are you on? 

    What modem/gateway is it connected to?

      So the PlayStation will say lan cable disconnected, lan cable connected like it just drops the connection for a second then connects again. Sony have said it is a firewall setting within the router? I’m not too clued up with this stuff.

        What modem/gateway is it connected to? 

        Have you tried replacing the ethernet cable?

    Be sure your using good qualiity working LAN cables. CAT6 is recommended.
