RAX120
I am having the exact same issue with my RAX120, I have a modem (no router) that works perfectly when connected to wan port on my router, but when I connect it to my multi gig port it stops working. Yes, I go to internet settings and set the wan port to 5G multi-gig port and I reset the router and I reset the modem several times in different time sequences and so on and so forth and i get the same thing, the internet does not work when connected to the 5G wan port. Funny thing is that I have 2 RAX120 and neither of them work when connected to the 5g multiport wan. The modem is 2.5g capable and the cable is cat6.

Do you have the firmware updated to the latest version? You need to change the WAN port settings and power off the modem and router and finally turn on modem first and then the router. Power cycling needs to be done several times if the router wan port doesn't detect internet. The same issue happened a few times in the RAXE500 router that I had a while back.

and I reset the router
The instructions on page 31 of the User Manual do not mention resetting the router.

The reason I ask is because reset has different meanings. a Factory Reset, for example, will reset the router to use the default WAN port, not the multi-gig port.

What modem is it?
Did you try a different cable?
