RAX48 Firmware Upgrade Failed

My RAX48 failed to complete a firmware update.  Ended up having to do a factory reset.  Now it works for a week or two then looses access to the internet.

Since it is no longer under warranty , is there any diagnostic tools available to check the health of the unit?  Never had a router die so fast.

Thanks,

Marc

How did you try to accomplish the firmware update when it failed?  Through the firmware update page of the user interface or did you try to do a manual update?  Were you eventually successful in updating the firmware?  What is the current firmware version on your router?  The latest is not an answer.  The firmware version number is necessary to allow confirmation.

What is the brand name and model number of the modem/ONT that is connected upstream between your router and the internet?

Experienced Netgear users, manually update the router firmware when it is necessary.  See here:

        Thanks for the info.

Tomorrow I will  try upgrading the firmware  to version V1.0.15.128 on my RAX48 using the manual process to see if this fixes the issue.

Not 100% convinced this will solve the problem because I did a factory reset and the router has been unstable ever since?

I know it isn't the modem issue because I purchased  an AX1800 and it connected no problem

Still does not answer the question about the manufacturer and model number of the upstream modem.

Your AX1800 is what model number specifically?
