RAX50: Wifi becomes unresponsive daily

Purchased the router 3 days ago. At least once a day (usually at night, but that might just be a cooincidence) wifi channels (2 and 5GHz) become unresponsive.

 

  • The ssid shows up, but they cannot be connected to.
  • Existing devices that are already connected stay connected, but there are no returned packets.
  • I still have internet over wired connection when this happens.

 

If I wait long enough (usually an hour or so), it eventually comes back. If I reboot the router, it comes back.

 

Any ideas what's going on? I've tried disabling AX features. I've tried turning beam forming on and off. Not sure what to try next.

  • FYI: The problem doesn't appear to be channel congestion. However, this was done while wifi was functional. I'll try again when it breaks again.
