RAX50v2-NightHawk

I recently updated to this NightHawk RAX50v2. Previous to this upgrade I was using Orbi Mesh RBR 20/RBW 30(plug in satellite). Can anyone advise if I can use any component of ORBI Mesh as WiFi extender to the Nighthawk RAX50v2? And if it is possible the steps that i need to do in order to make the connection also, areas of concern that i need to know ie conflict etc. Thank you

    Only EX or EAX series extenders will work with the RAX. Orbi is only supported and compatible with in Orbi systems.

      Thanks Furrye38. i appreciate your response. So only EX or EAX extenders will work w/ my Nighthawk RAX50v2- is it worth locating a used extender?

        Of course. Might find a refurb'd one on amazon or find something used on ebay or shopgoodwill.

    You might consider using your RBR20/RBW system configured as an access point with a wired connection back to your RAX50v2.

     

    Go to the Downloads section at the top of this page, download the manual for your RBR20 and go to page 82 for configuration instructions.
