RAX54 slow speed especially upload
hello,
spectrum just sent me a new modem because they upgraded me to faster speed of 600mbps. I installed the modem and instantly started having issues with my router RAX54. the speeds were all over the place and the upload is so slow that I'm having issues with video conferences for work.
I just factory reset my router hoping that would work, but didn't seem to change anything. the modem they sent me is an ES2251.
When I do speed tests I get mid to high 300s on download and low single digit 4-6mbps uploads. this wasn't the case before I changed the modem not sure what's going on.
Might actually be the modem. Swapping modems can cause connections (coax) to loosen or be bad. Have you hardwired directly into the modem to check the speeds on it?

Wired or wireless?
Just another user with time on their hands.

- Artisan54AspirantTurns out it was the modem. It needed to be redone on their end. But took like 3 calls to get it done.
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
