Question

I just picked up a new router from Costco. I have been reading about routers installed with DumaOS 3.0 and was wondering if it is possible to install on my new router. The current firmware version of my router (updated) is V1.1.3.18_2.1.14, and when I search my router in the download section I find 1.1.2.16. So is this firmware from the download area equipped with DumaOS? The version in the download area is actually a lower version so I am kind of confused.

No you can't install DumaOS on a router that hasn't been specifically sold with DumaOS installed such as the XR500 or XR1000.

The firmware might be different because sometimes they push out updates on the auto-update server first. Then the manual update site later.&nbsp;
