RAX70 2.4Ghz connected but no internet

Hi All,

IN the last couple months, I've been experiencing issues with my 8 month old RAX70 router and i can't figure it the root cause. 

 

Couple of the issues i tend to see often:

- Suddenly loose the 2.4 GHz from my WIFI list and can only see 5GHz. 

- OR I can see 2.4 Ghz, but when i try connected it says 'Connected. no Internet'

 

I have never had issues on the 5Ghz, but only seems to be the 2.4 Ghz. All my smart devices are connected to the 2.4Ghz, so it has been really frustrating.

 

To get my router to work, I have to unplug the power cord of the router and wait 10 seconds and then it works fine but its been really a pain to do this often.

 

Is there any fix to this issue?

Router Firmware Version V1.0.12.114.
Netgear RAX70

  • what happens if you disable smart connect? 

    Or try changing wifi channels on the 2.4ghz?

      Thanks for your response. I don't have Smart Connect enabled and I've left the channel for 2.4Ghz as Auto.

        Did you try manually setting a channel?

        How many devices do you have on the 2.4gh?
