RAX80 1.0.3.98_1.0.46 firmware reseting after restart / loss of power.

I have been wanting to use my RAX80 in wirless AP mode and in doing so it needs to reboot to change. When it reboots it factory resets itself. No matter what i try if the RAX80 losses power it factory resests itself. I do not know if its a firmware problem or a device problem.

  • hello,

i have the same issue. It's very ennoying that  as soon as I want to activate the AP mode, my rax80 does a factory reset ... this appeared with the latest firmware update (1.0.3.98).
moreover, I cannot update the language of the interface (stay in 1.0.2.76_2.1.46.1).

    any help will be appreciated.

I have similar issue, but on V1.0.3.92_1.0.43

Whenever you lose power, the only way to get the router to boot is to press and hold the reset button while booting. Otherwise it will just sit there and not boot, with fans spinning fast. I am scared of losing power, because every single time I have to manually apply settings.

Reaaaaaaallly want a firmware that can 1) boot reliably 2) can save settings
