RAXE300 region locked to Canada

I have exactly the same issue: Amazon purchase, I'm in the US and region is locked to Canada with up-to-date firmware. I have spoken to Netgear Help but have not received any suggestions other than "don't worry about it." This doesn't feel satisfactory to me.

  • You could updating the firmware of the router downloaded from the US model support page.

      yes tried that suggestion. The regions field remains locked unfortunately.

        Did you try factory resetting the router before? If the region is still locked to Canada region, then you might have to return the router.
