RAXE500 is a bit hot. Isn't it supposed for the fan to kick in?

I mean. it's not like lava hot but is somewhat hot and I've never noticed the fan to kick in, only when I reboot the router. Do you know if this is normal? is the temperature threshold for the fan ...
