What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended. What devices do you have all connected?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Be sure to disable any MAC Address randomizers on phones and pads while at home:

Armor, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.

thank you.
R6700AX
FW V 1.0.14.134
i have reupdated to newest FW.
Channel 11. but also tried 9, 6, - previously on Auto for the past yr without any problem.
tested channel 11, 9, 6, no other wifi in the area using those channels.
dropping of 2.4G started about a day after i connected my Ring Stick camera, but i doubt connecting it to the wifi will cause such a problem. no wifi setting was changed during that time.
The 5G wireless has no problem.
LAN lines have no problem.
