Replacement for old but reliable R7000P
I want to get Wi-Fi 6/6E and improve wireless performance to all my devices, as I have so many now with my wireless home security and smart home improvements, but I can't decide on which model to get.
Currently toying between the Netgear RAX30 and the RAXE300, but are the "gamer"-centric models any better?
If the wireless throughput depends on the MU-MIMO supported by the clients, and my devices are 1x1 or 2x2, then wouldn't the RAX200 be better than the RAXE300, since it has more streams even if the "speed" is slower at 4800 Mbps compared to 7800 Mbps?
What about my neighbours Wi-Fi? I can see a half dozen different Wi-Fi networks on my phone with 2 bars or more. We're not talking about accessing each others WAN's. We're talking about sharing the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands.
I can't tell at the moment whether any of theirs is Wi-Fi 6E, but I can tell you I won't need Mesh.
Any thoughts or ideas?

Do your many wifi clients support Wifi 6? Few do. Most IoT stuff doesn't even do 5 GHz.
Do not confuse Wifi 6 with 6 GHz. To be really on the bleeding edge, look for a 6 GHz router. But that will mean buying compatible wifi clients.
.... I can tell you I won't need Mesh. Why not? For someone seeking to manage a complicated Wifi network, that seems like an obvious path to travel.
Try plugging your needs into the filters on the product pages:
