router in Hawaii
I have an old Netgear router. I stream movies a lot. Not high def but regular. My house is two stories. I must have range down to basement though wooden floor and gyp board. My Spectrum plan is 500mpps. What is best new router to get?

Then check back here for reports on the things you are considering, but remember that people turn up in this community with problems, not compliments. So look at reviews on Amazon, for example.

- hawaiianlungsAspirantI have an older Netgear router. It has 8 antenna, 4 on each side. It died.
I need to get a replacement Netgear router that has same range and streaming power. What should I get? I don't have the model number if the old router as I threw it out but I am looking in old oapers

Any new router will be at least as good as the old one.
