Router unable to connect to internet (RAX 35)
I have not had internet for three days already. (Note: I have had this router for maybe a year now). I have tried every combination of unplug the modem and router to no avail. I called my internet provider, Spectrum, and after hours they came to the conclusion that it was the router that was the issue because the modem still provided internet. I was able to verify this because when using an ethernet cable plugged directly into the modem and into my PC, it had internet. But the rest of the house does not because of the router. Using the cable to plug the modem and router to each other shows that the router does not have internet. The internet light on the router is orange. I am still able to see the internet options on my phone but it says "No Internet Connection." Using the Netgear app is also completely useless. Every solution keeps telling me to use it when I can't. I have attached a file below. I need internet connection to use the router but I don't have internet connection because the router won't work.
Does anyone have any solutions? I did contact Netgear but they wanted payment for technical support so I opted to keep trying on my own. Would buying a new router be a better/more affordable solution?

- VibratingTurtleAspirantI would also like to note that after trying every combination of unplugging and plugging and every trouble shooting steps online and told my Spectrum support, I factory reset the modem and router and still nothing. Then I repeated all the steps I did before and still nothing.

Hello,
May you provide the current firmware version your router is currently on.
Thanks,
Christian
- Casablanca79AspirantWhy in the salty F*ck would you sell a router that needed a firmware update in order to connect to the dam internet!!!! We have cars that drive themselves and you a$$ clowns can’t make a router that just works! Did you graduate from Trump University!! Did your mom abandon you at birth because she couldn’t spend another moment with you?!?
Pleased for the love of God, find a new career, like basket weaving, and stay away from tech!!!
Just realize I paid $300 for a f*cking router. You asked what firmware we have, you didn’t outline steps to find that information, you unhelpful sh*t stain.

RAX35[v1] or RAX35v2? Look for "Model" on the product label.

Not a useful description of what you did, or what happened when you
did it, but, if you don't like the app, then why not use a web browser?> [...] Every solution keeps telling me to use it when I can't. [...]
What does "Every solution" mean to you?
> [...] I need internet connection to use the router [...]
Says who? Define "use the router"? No Internet connection is needed
to _configure_ the router.> [...] The internet light on the router is orange. [...]
What about all the other LEDs?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Beyond the
basic set-up instructions (including "Use a web browser to access the
router"), look for the LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".

or only to your interlocutors?
