router won't boot after firmware update (rax45 from costco)
hi,
so we just bought a new nighthawk ax6 from costco, and i tried to update the firmware, and it just... wouldn't boot. i'm wondering if the firmware got corrupted. resetting wouldn't work, either. it wouldn't reset. the power button just was red and blinking white. not sure what happened.
we're thinking about just buying a new one.
any tips?

sounds like you're right on it getting corrupted. In the future, I recommend updating firmware over a hardwired connection. don't do it over wireless or the app. its usually where we see the most problems.

If it doesn't work, I'd just exchange it at costco as they have a very generous return/exchange policy and its probably faster than going through warranty.
