Router wont connect to internet rax20

Question

Hi,&nbsp;&nbsp;I am having troubles connecting my RAX20 to the internet. The service providers answer is to use theres.... What Firmware version is currently loaded?What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too? Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. Netgear firmware 1.0.4.100

I was hoping to remove the netcom modem and only use nighthawk, but maybe ill use it as an AP for wifi

Contact your ISP to see if that some that is supported. They should know all about there modems and such and if something can be swapped out. There maybe some configuration requirements.&nbsp;

That looks like a DSL modem/router., That lands&nbsp;you in double NAT territory.

You&nbsp;can't just ditch it, Your rax20 needs a modem to talk to.

What&nbsp;you need to know is how to put the Netcomm NF18AC/NF18MESH into bridge (modem only) mode. I&nbsp;wouldn't rely on your ISP to&nbsp;understand that. Most barely know how to use hardware on their own networks.
