Slow speeds Nighthawk® 8-Stream Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router no where near what it's claimed.

I'm thinking Netgear should consider changing the name of "Nighthawk" to "Nightmare"!
What you think?

I have a Nighthawk® 8-Stream Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router
That get's nowhere near what is claimed by Netgear for speed unfortunately.

I've done several factory resets, made sure firmware is up to date experimented with smart connected and other options which of coures are all off now that was a nightmare. Going through my entire smart home and rediscovering 37 smart devices over again each time!!!

I've tried so many things with literally no help from netgear because they said it was purchased from a non-authorized dealer...
I have over 1g speed coming from my modem and I'm lucky to get over 500mbps

standing inches from the router!

I even bought a ( NETGEAR Nighthawk™ X6S AC3000 tri-band Gigabit Wi-Fi mesh extender (EX8000)  in thought that maybe it would play well with the nighthawk router and help...

What another incredible nightmare getting it stable or at least somewhat stable that still needs to be rest constantly and hit WPS on it & router to get maximum speed which isn't close to proclaimed speeds! 5g goes in and out frequently that we try to stay away with it because it's so unstable for steaming.

Just bought and sent back today ( NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S Tri-Band Wi-Fi MeshExtender) another nightmare that literally took my network down and defiantly didn't mesh well with the router!

I'm about to say farewell "FOREVER" to Netgear if they can't step up to the plate here! When I say that I mean get rid of everything netgear in my home and never purcahes it nor let it in any of my homes again!

Yes both router & extender are past your 90 days which is very sad Netgear doesn't even back products for a year because they know they're not reliable. I've spent hours/days working the bugs out, or at least trying to get a stable connection and just living with subpar speeds for way overpaid hardware!

Hope this doesn 't fall on dealth ears! If so I'm just 1 customer right doesn't really matter to Netgear...

Best Regards,

Brandon
