Speed Test
Our community has gotten fiber service and got 1 Gbps service with our ISP.
I'm using:
NETGEAR Nighthawk AX8 WiFi
8-Stream AX5700 WiFi Router
with latest firmware available.
The concern I have is with PS4 connectivity performance. The speed I get on the Ps4 is around 490 Mbps download and 110 Mbps download wired directly to the router using a CAT8 cable.
Running the speed test on the router itself gives me on the average:
Download: 550 Mbps
Upload: 530 Mbps
That's not close to the 1 Gbps expected.
I have run speed tests directly to a laptop and results I got:
Download: > 900 Mbps
Upload: > 500 Mbps
Is there an issue with the router for the speed performance? Any tools should I use to troubleshoot the issues?
Your hep is very much appreciated.
Thanks.

What are your wired speed results with a wired PC connected to the ISP modem? Same at the router?
Use Ooklas installable speed test app on the wired PC.

How do I perform a factory reset on my NETGEAR router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
Always do this when you have changed your Internet service. You want it to forget any settings carries over from the old Internet service.
Router speed test: Download: around 550 Mbps & Upload: around 500 Mbps
Also done wired?
