Ssid not found on laptop
I'm having a problem where 2 work laptops can't find the ssid.
Both our mobile phones can see the ssid and connect to it with no problems.
I also haberdashery a dlink covr mesh network which both laptops can see the ssid for the mesh and connect.
If I disconnect the covr mesh then back to the problem of both laptops not finding the ssid for the router.
I've tried to manually enter the details into my work laptop but that didn't work either.
Any tips, tricks?

Intel WiFi adapters? Update the drivers -> https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ Older drivers often don't reconn or connect WiFi 6 radios.
- CarolynnAspirantI'll check that, because the work laptop has so many restrictions I'll see if I can do it or get IT to do it remotely.
Not sure what chipset it has but will check

The same thing happened to me when Netgear updated the firmware.
I was not nitified of a software update, but the radio signal was disabled.
Quick remedy was to push radio button icon on front (top) of router (second from right)
To fix underlying issue, the firmware needed updating.
BUT, auto update did not detect new firmware.
SO I had to go to Netgear site and enter my machine to find download.
Download the software update onto my computer desktop.
THEN, go back to
routerlogin.net
OR type in: 192.168.1.1
to get to firmware update page
then manually, upload the software.
Several blocks were present along the way, so that I could not do this myself.
I had to pay $80 for a service contract to fix the issue.
Shame on Netgear.
