Traffic Meter impacting performance

Question

Being curious about the amount of traffic the router handles I decided to switch on the Traffic Meter of my RAX200 router. My download speed measured with Ookla speedtest normally sits around 900. With the Traffic Meter enabled it now was not even able to reach 400. I use a wired connection from my desktop to the router.

Anyone else with a RAX200 used the Traffic Meter? What was your experience?

Based on my experience the Traffic Meter seems to there to check a box, but is other than that not usable.

Anything that strains the router's processor can slow things down. Bet avoided.

What firmware version are you on?&nbsp;
The traffic meter did impact performance on the older R series of routers but the RAX200 has a pretty rock solid process that should have the ability to manage the traffic meter&nbsp;

Firmware v1.0.10.140No updates available it says.

but with it disabled, speeds are fine?&nbsp;I'd probably just leave it disabled. I haven't found it that useful as the data usage never matches what my isp reports.&nbsp;

The meter does seem to have problems differentiating between network and Internet traffic.
