Using a 6250 smart WiFi router as extender with RAX120

I was going to use a Wifi Extender with my new RAX120, but the one Netgear offers for this unit is cost prohibitive. I only am interested in getting decent wifi to the dining room, and out to the cars in the drive way. Can I use the 6250 as an extender for the lesser AC1900 to those areas?...

  • R6250?

Wired to RAX120 as an access point?

    As a wireless bridge?

If you visit the support pages:

you can feed in the model number and find the documentation for your hardware.

      provided you meant the EX6250

Helps to know what we are talking about.

EX6250 would be a better idea, but I assumed that AJGCJG had an R6250 lying around.

Just a guess on my part.

            It's simply R2650. I'm sorry I missed the R.
