What outdoor Wi-Fi extender
What device should I install to improve my WiFi signal to the outdoor pool equipment area?

the only outdoor rated range extenders I know netgear has is the RBS50Y (in extender mode) or the airbridge wbc502 has extender mode.
Something to keep in mind through is the exterior of homes is usually what blocks signals the most. so check what the signal is like where you'd be placing an extender to make sure it gets a decent signal first.
I am wanting a device which I can mount on the exterior of the house and I have no problem with running a cable to it. Any suggestions? What is the difference between an access point and Wi-Fi extender?
The outdoor access point is hardwired in via ethernet. Tends to have higher throughput than an extender.
the wireless extender is just that. It picks up and rebroadcasts the wireless.
