What's Wrong with RAX200 AX11000 ??? On my 3rd one ??
QUESTION .. At The END..
I'm on my 3rd Nighthawk RAX200, AX11000 ??? Why do they continue to GO OUT ?
After a year or so.. they go out.. I'll reboot, Re-Add then they freeze up,.
Tech Support ( phone or chat ) can not do anything...
Oddly.. Even though my last one was less than a year old they refused to mail me
a NEW ONE because my -Original Purchase- was more than a year ago.
--- Well this time.. with my F++++++ .. $500 I paid the $56 for a 2 year warrenty !!
--- just so I can STICK IT TO Netgear .. maybe they'll mail me out a 2nd Free one with their
broken RAX200 !!! ( like my grandmaw used to say after a rude sentence.. " well Now *
.
I REALLY wanted their new RAXE500 6Ghz .. but since I have no 6 Ghz devices I did not want
1/3rd of the 60 devices to be wasted.. so I went back with the SAME Broken RAX200 with 60 devices.
.'
QUESTION.. Could my order YESTERDAY.. be a Newly Created New Model RAX200
where the corupt broken part has be FIXED ??
I'm so hoping my $500 did not buy the identical broken 3rd RAX200.
---- THANK GOD I kept my old old old R8500 .. it's saved my A== Several times
when Netgear's ~Fancy~ Routers has broken down.
.
Are the Netgear Gods secretly telling me not to buy Netgear broken routers anymore?
--- Can Netgear recomend other companies Routers that do not break down even though I've
paid them probably $30,000 in modems, Routers, Extenders, Bridges, & Switches.. ??

They took me through all the same tasks.
BUT we did get a smb : // 192 .1 6 8 . 1 . 2 6 to connect and I added it to my finder....
along with the AFP that I always used.. of coures I had to delete all my other AFP links
The SMB downloads MIGHTY FAST.. like my ReadyNAS always was with AFP.
My concern.... Isn't SMB Going out of style?? I'm thinking I've seen statements where
the ReadyNAS does not support it.. or it's updates or something.
..and why doesn't the ReadyNAS Unit it'self handle the speed transfering my files to my Hard Wired Laptop?
The only things I do not have Ethernet & Switch connected are my Wifi Security Cams which has no ethernet ports.
Christian, Thanks for the reply !!!
