WiFi Disconnecting on Android After Using Delta Executor – Network Conflict

I’m facing a strange issue on my home network that I’m hoping someone can help me troubleshoot.

Recently, I started testing an app called Delta Executor on an Android device (Samsung Galaxy A52). It’s a script executor used for Roblox, mainly for Lua-based development and modding purposes. The app is lightweight and runs entirely on-device without needing root.

However, right after running the app:

  • The phone disconnects from the WiFi network (Netgear RAX50).

  • Sometimes it reconnects on its own after a minute or two, but often I have to toggle WiFi off and back on to restore connection.

  • The issue happens only when using Delta Executor. All other apps (including Roblox itself) work fine.

  • Other devices on the same network are completely unaffected.

Things I’ve already tried:

  • Rebooted the router.

  • Cleared the cache of the app and the phone’s network settings.

  • Assigned a static IP to the Android device.

  • Checked for router logs and firmware updates — everything seems normal.

It seems like the app might be triggering some kind of network protection feature or miscommunication with the router. Could this be caused by port blocking, packet inspection, or some kind of firewall rule on the Netgear router?

Has anyone here had issues with Android apps causing WiFi disconnections or temporary bans from the router?

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

If it was triggering something on the router, every device would have issues. Not just the one phone running the app.

So I'd be thinking its causing something on the phone.

  • Or the app is causing something on the phone itself to cause issues.

If zero other devices have issues and this issue only happens after using the app, what makes you think its the router and not the app causing a conflict on the phone?

I agree it seems app-specific, but I’m curious if it’s triggering something at the network level too (like flood protection or a security filter), since the disconnect happens exactly when the app starts. No other apps cause this, and the phone works fine otherwise.
